Agree non story but I think if he stays they will easily stay up.
Not if they don't strengthen with quality.
Even so called lesser clubs like Burnley, B'mouth and Palace would roll the mags over no problem with the squad they currently have.

That will be the hold up. They have too many players and Ashley wont want to add until he has offloaded. Benitez as an obsessive collector of players wont understand that
Could be a lot of truth in that.
Didn't 7/8 players come back off loan who are not good enough for the PL like Saivet and De Jong ? They've only offloaded Sammy Ameoba and the lad with the big arse. They've even offered gouffran a new deal. Ashley will be hating watching money flowing in to the bank accounts of so many unwanted players.

Ryder actually wrote an article a week or two ago about how players were begging Rafa for a second chance. It was obviously written to promote the Rafa legend that everyone wants to play for him. But, it could back fire massively if nobody is wanting to move on

when they told rafa his budget, did they forget to tell him it was in penny's :D

100 million penny's

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez can expect up to £100m to spend on new players following "positive" discussions with owner Mike Ashley

every last penny the club generates

Doubt it will happen
It won't just another attempt to get the fat gravy stained wankers to protest to galvanise the FSW's position as a Gurd. They still believe they are in with a great chance of PL success. Honestly today met a guy with his NUFC badge on his top and asked how he thought they would do this season. He answered without laughing easily expected a top 8 finish

They might but I very much doubt they will finish that high

Sure I read they had something like 35 players in the squad

Whilst there are plenty of dickheads like him, I'm sure the majority of reasonably sensible mags know for sure that it is going to be a struggle.
Finding another team in addition to dead ducks Brighton and H'field to save them is difficult. I'd back Burnley, Swansea, CP and B'mouth for example to do the mags home and away as things stand now.
