Better Call Saul - Series 3

Well I enjoyed the episode (in the minority here) but then I wasn't expecting a huge Breaking Bad type finale. Jimmy has yet to react to Chuck as well as the situation with Howard. I'm happy that Jimmy hasn't totally gone over to the bad, that could be the case when he reacts to Chuck. Nacho isn't totally out of the shit either. There could still be new characters introduced so I'm hopeful of at least one more series. And I'd like to know where Hector gets his bell from.

The Nacho and Hector scene was particularly dissapointing. Then ended with Gus looking at him like "guess you can work for me now" just all seemed a bit lazy. It's like it was the 2nd to last episode. And that's taking in to account I wasn't expecting a BB style ending as well.

Oh well. That's not what I saw in Gus Fring's look at Nacho mind. And I'm guessing given these writers there'd be a bit more to it than that.

I'm sorry it seems to have ended not with a bang but with a whimper for some. If there's another series I'll be more than happy to continue.

I'm sure there is a fast food connection.

Don't really know what I think about that. I kept pausing it to try and prolong it a bit and savour the programme..But Chuck's breakdown went on too long for me and I started obsessing about how much he reminded me of Harry Redknapp
Strange not seeing Mike
Wanted to see Victor suffer
Hope there's more to come

Chuck's breathing annoys me, I guess I won't have to worry about that much longer.

Well I suspect that as it was in all probability his last scene he might have been indulged just a smidge. It did go on a bit - I'll allow that.

I just finished watching BB all over again( in like 4 days):oops::oops:..Loved BCS- but that last episode was a bit slow if I'm honest.

I'd say that was it mind you , they could drag out another season focusing on Gus and that , but I doubt it

Same here, it was more of a "i know what you've done" look.

I've really enjoyed this series but the ending did feel a bit flat.

Another reason why I hope there's a 4th series - to carry on with Nacho's story and Jimmy's response to Chuck. I have to say it didn't fall flat for me, it was always going to be difficult to end given the drama of the court scene earlier in the series. But I was happy that the Kim and Irene situations were dealt with. The scene with Jimmy and Chuck was powerful as was the Howard and Chuck face off.

I thought the episode was alright but not breaking bad finale standard. Could see one more season but Hectors and Mikes stories are tied up nicely so it only leaves Kim and Jimmys stories to finish. Maybe Tuco comes back? The introduction of crystal meth? Or is that what they're exporting through Fring already?

They need to tie up loose ends so I can see another series but not sure how they can drag it out over ten more eps. I was thinking Kim might have left Jimmy at the end, then that would have been an adequate ending imo.

Is Jimmy still barred from law for a year? Does he work in Cinnabon until thats up and use his payout money to start his own firm?

I think they should have ended it with this series and left a few blanks for us to piece together. But if they do a fourth series it'll be worth watching no doubt.

Cinnabon is a reference to BB where he says he will have to move away and become a manager of a Cinnabon somewhere after it all goes tits up.

There will be a s4.

There has to be a 4th series, surely? Can't leave it like that.
Flat was probably a bit harsh, was just expecting a bit more and no Mike is ever a good thing.

The Howard/Chuck situation and his inevitable downfall was great and proved, as we knew anyway, that it was all in his mind. It started when he lost his wife and losing his brother was the final straw despite saying that Jimmy "never really mattered".

Wasn't too keen on how easily he reversed all his hard work with Irene, happened a bit too easily for me. Shows he still has a heart though.

The story with Kim is interesting because i thought they were going to split up by the end of this series.

I quite enjoyed it. Most powerful scene for me was Chuck's complete destruction of both himself and his house. As much as I hate Chuck, I couldn't help but feel awful for him. The constant re-checking of the meter was superb.

Agree, i couldn't help feel sorry for him even though he's a complete twat

I'm checking for confirmation of a series 4 on a daily basis. Yes, that's how sad I am. In the link I posted earlier it seems the writers are keen etc.
