Bain statement

Bain has no idea what he is doing. He is a massive mistake. I said it when he was appointed and i got dog's abuse. He is making a complete arse of everything he touches.

I would like to make the following statement:
"This is looking like a complete balls up. I am still available. I think I could probably just tell the players to figure it out for themselves and just leave them to their own devices and the chances are they would perform better than with whatever manager the club finds who is depressed/mad/desperate enough to want to manage us."

"Ok, rangers fans...err...sorry Sunderland fans - I admit, this may look like a total shambles, but you have to remember this is the first time I've done this job (really). At rangers, I carried mr murray's bags around and at tel Aviv I just worked on my tan. I assure you that I will be picking walter's brains and get the next best Scottish manager in here as quick as possible. Everything will work out, I am busy pouring over tea lady salaries and expect to be able to announce a major cost saving imminently. I must go, I have a sunbed appointment waiting for me."

Sounds looped.

If he starts referring to himself in the 3rd person as the Bainmeister. We could have grounds for constructive dismissal.

Not going to lie we all wish we had someone like Rafa. A champions league winner for fuck sake and we can't even tempt Dylan f***ing Mcinnes

Give it to Phillips and get in with it. Might not have experience but we need to act quickly here or this is going to be a total car crash
And giving it to Phillips would be a car crash of epic proportions, people wanting to employ him purely on his past career with us, he has no experience whatsoever so what attracts people to him is beyond me.

Let's hope he is peddled by new owners before he can sort way to syphen the Pickford money into his and uncle Walt's bank accounts.

In a statement, Bain said: “We have been in discussions with a number of potential manager candidates over recent weeks.

In the last few days we have been negotiating with Aberdeen Football Club in order to allow us to speak with Derek McInnes.

“Having held initial discussions, both ourselves and Derek have decided not to progress with further talks and we will continue with our recruitment process”.

That is spin for "he told us he wouldnt touch the club with a barge pole "

And giving it to Phillips would be a car crash of epic proportions, people wanting to employ him purely on his past career with us, he has no experience whatsoever so what attracts people to him is beyond me.

This.

Perhaps, but there's plenty of people on here who seem desperate to give the job back to Keane and that's likely to be an even bigger car crash. I'd rather have Phillips but realistically, whoever we get now will be a desperate appointment. Monk, Stam and McInnes are all out and most of the other commonly touted candidates are both hopeless and desperate. We're going to have to get imaginative bloody quick and make a left field appointment because there's not much time left. If not Phillips, who exactly would be a good candidate now?

What I don't understand is why we only ever seem to put all our eggs in one basket. Most other clubs would interview several candidates and go for the best, whereas we seem to fixate on one target which now leaves us in a right mess as whoever comes in knows they are 2nd choice.
