To my knowledge there have been no incidences (or at least convictions) of "white british grooming gangs", unless you can show me otherwise?

Seriously, you want to split hairs over this? Isn't the truth that there are evil bastards who will take opportunity when they can, acting with others if circumstances make it easy for them? And that vulnerable kids can be easy meat?

I'm not for one minute underplaying the cultural and race issues that were central to the way these Rochdale rapists behaved, but at the end of the day a conspiracy to fuck kids is a conspiracy to fuck kids.

The claim was "there are white british grooming gangs". There aren't. Paedo rings are very different- they are proper paedos who meet because of their "interest " unlike these gangs who are child abusers, but not after pre pubesent kids, and come from the same area/community.

White people who target kids like in this programme usually operate alone. AJ anyone?

I'm not splitting hairs. If people are going to claim "there are white grooming gangs" when they aren't, I'm entitled to query their claim.

It smacks of trying to deflect from the specific issue here that this type of MO is exclusive to a particular culture.

But why else differentiate them? What's the point? We know that different ethnic groups abuse in different ways. We do. We know this. It's old hat. The debate has, or should have moved on from that. Anything else is scoring points man.

Fair bit on there that both backs up your points and shows that there are white grooming gangs - at the very least that whites play a large role in them.

There's loads of reasons. One of the reasons this form of abuse took so long to be investigated is because of the culture of the abusers.

But my reason for differentiating on this thread was someone claiming "there are white british grooming gangs" when there aren't.

Yes, looking at the historical nature of these crimes the police considered the girls to be little sluts and that helped mask what was going on within these gangs and the networks that were spreading between them. But only as an historical talking point - we know this MO now and the police are using these links between the groups to create a domino effect of convictions which is a good thing.

But you're right. Grooming gangs don't tend to be the MO for white child rapists. White child rapists look for other ways to groom kids rather than in gangs. You're probably spot on in that regard. Well done. I accept it.

Don't get so het up then. I'm not coming on here to claim "all muslims are abusers" or anything like that, but I think we need to be grown up about it and admit this MO is specific to that culture. For people to come onto the thread and claim "there are white british grooming gangs as well" is just an attempt to mask the issue at hand, IMO.

It's not masking anything. Pakistani immigrant grooming gangs and how they operate are about as unmasked as it's possible to be right now. There's many more still to come as their networks are uncovered just the same as there's many more white paedo gangs still to be outed and hopefully it won't be long before all their collars are being felt.
