A common theme with all these videos uploaded by folk with dash cams is that the person with the cam is a dick who thinks they own the road mind. He was in the wrong but she was driving like a tit and should've just accepted he was going to be a helmet and waited patiently instead of being a cockwomble and trying to force her way in. What followed is just ridiculous.

Both. both are driving without due care and attention to other road users

The test of whether the standard of driving has fallen below the required standard is objective. It applies both when the manner of driving in question is deliberate and when it occurs as a result of incompetence, inadvertence or inexperience

Well done. You learn it by heart?

Wrong.
The lane is supposed to be used until you reach the closure. That is the whole idea of it.

People taking offence and straddling the two lanes etc to 'police' people who are obeying the highway code, should have to re-take their tests.
Yeah, use both lanes but she actually drove into a closed lane  I'm presuming she never hit the van and only hit the cones. So in my eyes she's a f***ing idiot and probably cost herself £500+ worth of damage all to gain 5 seconds (that ended up costing her 2 hours anyway )

Merging at the pinch point means shorter queues and, more importantly it would seem for a lot of people, nobody would be able to 'queue jump' as both lanes would be full. It's people who merge early that create the condition for 'queue jumping' to take place.
The only time that should happen is through heavy congestion.

No where in the highway code does it say the bloke in the van has to let the audi in...its courtesy that's all,
He's in correct lane, she isnt and if she hadn't of lost the plot im sure one of the cars behind would've let her in...
She got road rage coz she was probably in a hurry...

Not true. You should be looking to merge as soon as possible.
Not true ,the Use both lanes bit is the clue ,having everyone into one lane half a mile before the two narrow isn't what it's about .
The people on the right can get in at the others discretion, if you get a knacker who won't let you in you have to wait .
We don't shout and gesticulate when cars are passing us on the dual carriageway but the go mental at places like this when one gets in front

If I've already let two cars in at that time I expect the driver behind me to let the next car in. She could have waited for someone else to let her in like we've all had to do

you are wrong mate. got to show due care and attention. You are just not allowed to cause a collision because you are in the right lane, as there are now other factors coming into the equation. equally she is in the wrong as well and perhaps more so because of her attitude. Mind you, he stitched her up well and proper as he knew the camera was running so stayed cool, wheras she just went off on one
should use both lanes and allow to merge in turn.

Cam driver sped up to stop her. Ridiculous.

It was her that needed to give way and filter into his lane not the other way around, people who think it's their god given right to just pull in are twats!

You're meant to use both lanes right to the end to stop causing tailbacks. It's something you get taught

And how does it stop tailbacks when you're on the inside lane and every man and his f***ing dog are pushing in up front, the traffic won't move!

Do you suffer from road rage?

The fella filming. She had every right to use the full space in the outside lane then merge in turn. The fact he let someone in earlier is irrelevant.
