i can relate to her, I was nearly school age when my dad came home from war, didn't really know him and vividly remember running away from him when he first arrived home, we developed a relationship but it wasn't particularly close. Difference is Johnson created the situation, my dad didn't

He'll be on the sex offenders register so he will find it difficult to play football anywhere. He may even find certain countries will not allow him to go there on holiday never mind settle for work. His football career over imho. So saying Graham Rix managed to work as a coach and manager after spending a year in jail for having sex with a teenager - including getting his job back at Chelsea. Amazing when he committed the offence against the sister of a youth player he was responsible for as coach.
Agreed-no excuse whatsoever for what he did. That said, I think he got a harsher sentence than a "normal" person would-a warning to other celebrities not to abuse their status.

Yeah, but any bad feelings over his sentence should be taken up with the Spanish justice system.
I do agree he has got off lightly in relation to Luke McCormick though.
My only point being that the reason he's still playing is because the public don't care, and they don't care because it's never mentioned. Johnson has no chance at a career after he's released because of public opinion.
I agree, I don't see its relevance here, completely different legal systems and scenarios. Just felt like the drunken aspect should be highlighted, it wasn't just an unfortunate accident.
