Better Call Saul - Series 3

Son of Stan

Striker
Arrives on Netflix on April 11th. Having read a few reviews of the first couple of episodes (no spoilers!) which have been shown to the press the consensus seems to be that it's more of the same and doesn't look to be connecting to Jimmy's Breaking Bad persona anytime soon. Basically those who found it too slow will still have those issues, or give up. Others will enjoy it for the writing and characterization.

I'm looking forward to it. Just when I was going to get rid of Netflix too.

Just got into this and absolutely love it. Rarely watch the box but his gets me binge watching on a weekend. Only a couple into series two so still a bit to go. :D

I've seen the first two series via Netflix over the last two years.., fuck all actually happens, if anyone would like to argue, please just post :D

... it does work as an all episodes available to watch in your own time netflix show though.

I stopped at season one.
Very very disappointing. The potential was enormous too.
They have to build a proper basis first, and they really are doing that.

Breaking Bad was utter shit for the first few episodes.

Madman alert. BCS is canny though.
Really wasn't that impressed with BB. It was canny, but it was quite dull at times.
Its nowhere near as good, imo, as people make out. Not a patch on classics like West Wing, The Wire, The Sopranos etc.

This was turd for an entire season imo. Really laboured. 2D characters. Weak plot.

Hated The Sopranos and couldn't get into the other two. Loved breaking bad.

purely going off imdb, its only one episode...
I don't think this series will be rushing towards the BB scenario. Some people seem to be irritated by that. I'm quite happy to just go along on the journey with Slippin' Jimmy. It might have been better if they hadn't called it Better Call Saul as that's what a lot of people were expecting.

Its as if people like different things

That's it I think. People want the story of what else Saul was doing during the timeline of BB. That's not what the show is. Its about how Saul came to be.
