I was very disappointed when Andy Bell joined Oasis, far too good a musician to be a lacky for that mob. Going blank again was an excellent album, pretty much a soundtrack for me since I was 19.

Are they touring? A bit of shoe gazing should be fun

One date in Manchester, a few festivals and 5 or 6 gigs in the US.

Always thought the same as he stood at the back plodding on his bass guitar.

Glad to see them back to their shoe gazing best as it was he with his musical differences with Mark during the 3rd and 4th albums broke the band up.

The album Tarantula.....wtf was that about:eek:

Mark Gardener had near enough left by the time Tarantula came out, hadn't he? Two of his songs on it, I think.

Played Dublin on Wednesday and I'm on holidays. Went from ecstatic when seeing the gig announcement to totally depressed when I saw the date. Loads of mates went said they were class.

Hadn't played a gig in Dublin for 22 years when they were supported by 15 year olds ash.

Saw them in the roundhouse couple of years back. They still have it.

As a previous poster said it used kill me to see Andy slimming it in oasis. Had more talent in his little finger that either of those muppets put together.

If anything, he got fatter...

The live DVD with the Nowhere 25th anniversary edition CD is a "best of" any band would be proud of.

Around their 90/91 period I tried hopelessly to find a pair of boots that Andy and Mark wore during that period. They were a cross between fawn coloured dessert boots and walking boots but could never find a pair:cry:

So obsessed with the band at that time I saw them live in 6 countries. The twin Rickenbackers, boots and general fashion style of the band; white Levis jacket and black 501s......they looked so cool:cool:

Andy Bell sported a Stone Island coat when they played Newcastle Academy in 2015
