Anyone fancy a photography road trip?

I may be up for this but obviously would need a lot more details. i.e. hotels, car hire etc as it would take a lot of planning from my end. Keep me informed.
Would you not fancy going into Canada around Banff/Jasper, or is that too far ?

I thought of Banff, may be an option.

Give me a couple of weeks to sort out dates and I'll get back to you.

brill thread  I cant go but wish you all the best

I'd love to.

No idea on when I'm taking my holiday next year, but with a son in Canada (Whistler currently) who knows.
Downside is - I still have to earn a living.

Yeah, me too. It'll probably have to be 5 days max

As far as hotels/car hire go, that won't be a problem. It's part of what my Mrs does for a living.

Oh, I was thinking a road trip would be five months!:oops:

Mind, got to balance the cost of US/Canadian flights for only a week away with well, that would leave three weeks for a holiday in the sun early 2018.

Also who would go away with people from the internet?
Could be excellent fun!
Or a complete nightmare - which would be memorable in it's own way.

He wants us to fly over there for five days

Send uz a plane ticket millionaire boy ;)

Not sure what the deals are like in the UK but a round rip from Houston to Manchester is about $400.

That's on Singapore Airlines, not a budget flyer.
I'm going to Devon with freestein and we're going to have soapy showers together to save on tokens

We did Banff this year - amazing. If I get time to do summat with the photies I'll got some up here.

The Icelands Parkway is just out of this world. A proper photographer would do wonders.

No proper photographer needed

Is it vermilion lake?

I'm thinking about doing a trip in October. Not sure exactly where yet, but I thought maybe California coast, or Route 66 / Grand Canyon, or maybe Colorado.

Anyone think that may be interested?

Can't make the trip if you're still going, but have driven up the entire US west coast and also around Banff & Lake Louise so if you want any help on places to stay or anything, drop me a pm if you like.

Had you been going to head off around the Gulf coast through Texas & Louisiana etc all the way to the end of the Keys, that would have been a different story. Would take more than 5 days like.

Have a great trip if you go.

Seeing as this has been bumped I do fancy Yosemite again in the next few years if you wanted to join me

Spring or Autumn. I found a nice looking cabin at Foresta the other day for 200 a night in the low season
