I was thoroughly confused by that post until I realised where you were!
I rode to and from work the other day, it was neither warm nor humid and they hadn't closed any roads.
It was pitch black in both directions and my crackers were frozen by the time I got to work and also when I got home the next morning.
You just didCan MTBr's post in here or is it just road bums?

Just serviced my bike at the weekend - very much a part timer though. I intend to start commuting in April when it gets light here and might look for something different - I was thinking of one of those cyclocross/adventure type jobs.
I also intend to arrange a ride around Lake Geneva over a couple of days.
They opened a proper route recently which does a bit of climbing to keep off main roads nut not too much! Apparently you get some great views when you are over the eastern side of the lake above Vevey. You talking about intrepid routes up into the hills or those urban routes i see riders on just above lake level. We see them as we're heading back to the airport. Look great for training. No idea what condition the track surface is like. Could get a good few miles in round the lake.
Target for this year is 2017 miles, done the 17 so far...
Didn't get into The Transcontinental, so I'm f***ing bikes off and going fishing this year. Might do London Edinburgh London on a fixie though.Less than last year..but maybe more top end stuff

We're all too busy fishing. Seriously.
Mooching on Strava recently...Ingrid injured ? Don't see much trace of her( or Steve Gordon for that matter) clocking the winter base miles like they have in the past
