Whitley took an early lead from a free-kick & coasted to half-time.
Washington came out stronger in second half & forced an equaliser over the line after some heavy pressure but you always had the feeling Whitley had more in them & after a period of dominance they converted a late penalty.

Last minute goal disallowed, wasn't offside either. One of the worst misses I've ever seen in my life at 0-0, absolutely incredible f***ing freezing as well.

Tow law should of had 5 or 6 their 3rd goal was a quality goal excellent build up and a finish right in the top corner from the edge of the box, been a canny look out, if the lawyers could just get some consistency they could make a push at promotion in the next 18months or so, look forward to borth shields away in the cup Wednesday night now

What's the Tyne tunnel going to be like between 6:30 and 7 Wednesday night?? 1st time I've been to north shields hope it's not a traffic nightmare
