But a large amount of that money has been wasted because of him?

I can understand the case that he employed MoN (a good manager) and was let down. But appointing PDC? With De Fanti? Then Poyet? With Congerton? Then changing managers often? Employing Dick, then failing to live up to promises, causing him to quit (having signed players)? Failing to invest initially and then spending to plug the gaps? Alvarez? I'd suggest half the debt we've racked up was due to negligence at boardroom level and half due to shit spending by managers. But the idea that poor old Ellis has repeatedly been let down through no fault of his own is hilarious.
Your assumptions ( mainly lies ) are hilarious

If we were sitting mid table would you feel the same way?
No, because theres stability when you are sat mid table. We are currently on a knife edge. We are on the verge of a potential disaster

Protest against Moyes then, he's the one who is responsible for this start to the season.

Time to tell Short that he needs to go. I think all of us are sad that it has come to this but it's becoming increasingly clear that he's mismanaged the club to the point where relegation isn't our biggest worry - financial solvency is.

We've been through it all before but he's repeatedly left managers feeling their hands are tied and has made awful decisions that leave us in a perilous position.

Protesting may not help - but it's about time he hears the frustration of the support. It could well result in him acting - he wants rid of the club and is holding out for a higher price. Action might result in him dropping that price enough to get the sale through so we can rebuild for next year.

Let's keep it outside the stadium - the last things the players need is a hostile atmosphere when they're presumably low on confidence as it is, but I for one do not want to sit on my hands until the end of the season, knowing all that we do now about the mismanagement of the club, having done nothing.

The fans are the one real thing that matter to me about this club, and I'm sick of us being misled and manipulated by an owner who clearly has no interest anymore in our success.

Stop going they'll get the message

Wankers like keane, mon and moyes are the main perpetrators

Did they appoint Di Fanti and Congerton? Have they persistently overseen our poor standings in the league?

Do they control the board room and ultimately call the shots? Do they manage the finances and did they appoint themselves?

Aye your Brucey never wasted money did he ? Don't think the club has ever recovered from the Fat **** wasting the Henderson money. Plus all the shitty little £2m buys like Elmo, Ji and Angeleri all mount up

The DOF model works well elsewhere such as Southampton and Watford so I have no problem in Short trying that.

With Byrne, I remember Quinny waxing lyrical about her when he was chairman so I reckon she was his recommendation to Short.

I does that's why he makes heads role.
Didn't realise Southampton had a DOF tbh. There you go then, they have been excellent in the transfer market, so no wonder short tried to copy that.

Did short choose what players to sign for millions, who then left for nowt? does short pick the team, go over tactics, or lack of, does short tell them to hoof the ball at Defoes head, does he organise training? People go on about short being the constant. I'll tell you what else is constant, from the first signing we made under him Anton Ferdinand 9m, to Fletcher 12m, he's backed mangers to sign players for millions, to see them leave for nowt or next to nowt year after year, bar the odd one. That's going to catch up with anyone sooner or later, yet he still managed to back the manager with 30m in the summer and guess what, looks like it's been wasted again. De fanti and congerton, he tried to stop money being wasted, it didn't work and we don't have a DOF anymore. We've spent money on the squad since then and are worse.

I'm not an imbecile, not inbred, and not a part time fan, in fact nothing like the type of person that any protester is getting type cast as in this thread.

Because the world is a smaller place these days and if your customers are unhappy with what you are selling them then you tend to find out about it.

I don't believe anyone has made those comments until you just did ...... certainly not me, in fact, someone called me a part time fan.

So you posted absolute nonsense tbh.

I've said this before, if Ellis Short announced he was coming up to the North East tomorrow, to take personal charge of this crisis. Held his hands up and said 'I've given my money to idiots who've let me down and embarassed me', fans would respect him.

Instead he's nowhere to be seen. In St Tropez. Whilst his millionaire 'assets' trudge around Nissan in their tracksuits.
