So which ones wouldnt improve the team?
perez for watmore/gooch is a no brainer
Shelvey for ndong, pienaar or rodwell is a no brainer
Ritchie for khazri or januzaj is a no brainer
Just accept it for how it is mags or not.
Colback wouldnt get in a team with rodwell, mcnair, gooch and pienaar?
We couldnt play him left back and push pva on the wing?
If you say no you are lying its that simple, so much blinded bias its ridiculous and we both know its all it is.
...sensible reply to opinion...
Doing well?
You have posted links to when i stopped going to matches because we chose money over the clubs name playing a child sex offender whilst knowing his guilt you know the one who you posted you would welcome back to the club.
I havent beent to the ground since and wont until shorts disastrous reign is over its that simple.
Its not just goals or assists though mate its relieving pressure on the back four and making options for a pass. I would take the 7 i named here in a heartbeat even swap them for most the players dangermoist brought up.Based on premier League info I'm not sure it is as clear as you make out
Perez for Watmore - no brainer.........is it? for two young lads who have played out wide, (Perez possibly more through the middle than Watmore), perez has 1 goal every 3.5 games, watmore has one goal just over every 4 games, both bring different things to a team, hardly a no brainer, comparison with Gooch is unfair as completely different positions
Ritchie for Khazri or januzaj - no brainer............Ritchie has 1 goal every 8.5 games, Khazri 1 goal every 9 games and Januzaj 1 goal every 5.8 games, ritchie has most assists by about 2 from januzaj and about 3 from khazri, again a lot closer than you think and hardly a no brainer and all would bring something to either team in my opinion.
Comparing Shelvey to a newly purchased N'Dong who isn't even into double figures in performances, or an over the hill pienaar isn't really fair but yes based on the anonymity of Rodwell then Shelvey would be a better bet, even when poor last season for the mags at least he made some positive contributions every now and again
As for Colback, he has played less than half of the mags game this season, and don't forget he was also part of a team that got relegated and part of a team of perennial strugglers here at our place, sure he showed he could play a part in turning it round for us and those you have mentioned haven't shown us anything yet, but it is easy to be selective....would he for instance get a game with a midfield including Cattermole, Kirchoff, N'Dong.......personally I don't think he would, would he still be a useful squad player for us at the minute, yeah personally I think he would.
At the end of the day it is all about opinions and yours may differ which is fair enough, but some of those mentioned are from 'no brainers'
One thing I've noticed about the Newcastle fans at work is that they're actually enjoying football at the moment. Weird isn't it. It's all relative.
Thank fuck for that.
4 in 9 is still very good playing for our shiteThat is the same Defoe who has been utterly shite this season. If so yes, you are correct sir. Back up for our in-form striker.
Totally this.
As a Newcastle fan i would rather see us winning against Barnsley and Derby than getting humped every week in the Premier League. The other bonus is we do not have to worry about losing to you rabble again.
Newcastle would beat us comfortably at present,Gayle would tear us a new one.
Erm... have we?we still have more than enough to beat a championship side
