Make me feel sick to the stomach to think of one of my parents dying. I'm 36 now and they're still going along great which I'm so thankful for. My heart goes out to anyone who's had to suffer such a devastating loss.

I thought they would go on forever until last December when me dad upped stumps and headed back to the pavilion.
Do as much as you can with them now while you all can.

So sorry to hear that. It would have been Dad's 99th birthday today if he was still here. All you can do is remember the good times and the laughs. My sisters and I talk about him regularly, and that helps to keep him alive in our heads. He was my hero which is why he's my username...and the handsome bugger is my avatar too.
