Benitez is a decent manager and they seem to be pinning hopes on him working wonders and that they will p*ss the league.
Possible but likes of Sissoko, and maybe Janmaat?, likely to leave. Their team could be something like:

Mbemba Hanley Lascelles Gamez

Ritchie Anita Shelvey Colback

Mitrovic Gayle

That looks a decent team at that level but not sure it is definitely that much stronger than some others. Norwich looking at McCormack, who has better record than Gayle.
Shelvey could be a liability in a league in which work rate and attitude are important. Mitrovic has talent but is a nutjob. Could go either way.
How many of those would get in our team? Ritchie is underrated but not sure about rest and we aren't great. So IF they do come back up, they would need to buy a new team again.
