Missus wants a fitbit

whats the battery life on these, not had a exercise band for a few year. that was my only gripe when i had one they only lasted about a year , they worked for me for loosing weight, went from walking 30 mile a week to 100 mile a week, had to beat your mileage each week & friends waking up seeing you've done 30,000 steps & wanting to beat the shit out ya

Can you change the battery?

If so once a year isn't really the end of the world.

If I were you I would buy her a sex toy from Ann summers. They will look the same, be fun for a while, buzz occasionally when sweaty and end up in her bottom drawer when she is bored of it in 3 months.

some fitbits you can , but I suppose thats how they make there money, where your buying a fitbit every year / 6 months as this says, but i did get my moneys worth out of mine.

Fitbit were smart in that regard and did make the product so that the user could replace the battery easily themselves.

However, this has now changed with the new Fitbit Charge and Charge HR, which does have an internal battery that can be charged up.

Me and the wife both got a hr charge Fitbit and have been quite disappointed with how inaccurate they are.

We are on holiday at the moment and walking about 20k a day. By the end of the day hers is 1 to 2 km in difference even though we have walked the same route.

Very handy for tracking sleep and in general, motivating you to do more so you can drink more...
