I hate to be the one to mention it first, but unfortunately the police have contacted Davey's mam and told them that he is dead. I know he has great friends who get on here and I imagine they will have already been contacted by his mam and brother, but though it best to say as quick as possible as i believe people were talking about going to york to join the search for him.

Fully agree - understand everyone is emotional but a lot of Davey's mates, including me, are following this, and others are in York looking for him. This is not good at all, and not the time for petty jibes. Lets show Davey some respect.

That's devastating news and I am not ashamed to say that I am extremely distressed. RIP Dave and God be with you. We have all lost a good man and it hurts immensley.
