I don't understand why they are trying to retain the current squad. If I was Rafa, I would ditch as many as I could, apart from the keeper, Shelvey, Townsend and Colback. They are three players with a bit of quality that you could get more out of in the Premiership and who would probably be prepared to hold their nose in the Championship for a season. All the rest of them are going to rot in the Championship. Even then, if they get back, these are the guys that got them relegated! It is a great opportunity to get shot of them.

They should buy a few solid Championship standard players that might kick on, and try and get two or three promising youngsters who would benefit from the experience that they might not otherwise be able to afford them in the Premiership. Then they can worry about buying a few more players once they actually get promoted. It is not like they can go out and buy top line players while they are in the Championship, is it?
 
Got to expect them to come straight back up, their team is already better than any championship team albeit with questions over the character of the team and by the sounds of it they'll spend more than any other team down there too but fuck them we should only be interested in making sure we have a decent season.
 
No leagues anymore,no structure to the football pyramid. We just operate in different circles nowadays our circle just happens to have a lot more going for it

All with pretty much the same point anarl. Surely they could just post it in the same thread but then they'd just get less attention.

Why talk when you can shout ect.

I've heard it's blasphemy to say rafa out loud unless you're indoctrinated into the church of the deluded.

It will remain that way until the plebs snap and chase him out of the lopsided holy temple, smiting horses and waving pissy shrouds of chagrin in their fury at succumbing to the mighty brewers..
