On a serious note what do you think Ashley has done wrong this year? From the outside he has put money in and backed his manager. When McClaren failed managed to get benitez. Surely yoru anger should be focused on on Charnley or players, I can't see what Ashley has done wrong this year

It's incredibly naive to think that, despite what Ashley says, that he doesn't have a say in the key decisions at NUFC (see his 'my door' interview last season for his contradiction in the same interview). Ultimately he's the man at the very top so he's accountable (similar to how threads appear on here criticising Short when things aren't going so well at your place when Margaret Byrne should have maybe shouldered more if you go with the same logic)

Don't get me wrong, Lee Charnley gets the brunt of the blame but he's a jumped-up secretary who is massively under-qualified for the position that he holds. Charnley put our survival to the final day last season (leaving a total moron in charge) waiting for a man who has been the root cause of the under-performance of our first team this season (McClaren).

What would you have Ashley to have done different this season? Sack McClaren earlier??

Deluded for being unhappy that we have been relegated twice under his stewardship of nine years? (we've only ever been relegated 6 times in our entire history).

If you say so...

You wanted Allardyce sacked - tick

You wanted Keegan back - tick

You wanted Sheerar as manager - tick

You wanted Pardue sacked - tick

You wanted a jordi as manager - Carver - tick

You wanted money spent - 3rd highest in Europe - tick

No wonder he treats your fans with utter contempt. I cant blame him.

Yes.

On a wider scale - ripping up our overarching transfer policy that is counter-productive to the performance of the first team would have been a massive step in the right direction. That's not just limited to this season though admittedly.

Just had a look on Newcastle Online and the bitterness is oozing out of them.

Wallsendmag - Well done to them for staying up but it should always be remembered that they knowingly played a paedophile in order to do so.

themanupstairs -
Get to f*** you f***ing cesspool of a club and city. f***ing vermin getting the rub of it with that bollocks pen at Stoke and two deflected goals today. What can you f***ing do except look at the way NUFC has kept them up 4 years running. f*** off the lot of you inbred b******s.

Kanji -
Wonderful that a club that supported a Paedophile player, hovers in the bottom 6 every year gets to stay up. I look forward to Big Sam getting a stroke, Defoe breaking a leg, and them not getting 4-6 points off us next season.

Bhoywonder - The mackems don't talk about A**m J***son any more. They're the classy club. They never cheered a fascist, they never racially abused their star player's mother, they never repeatedly invaded the pitch and physically assaulted a goalkeeper. Nope, never happened. And if it did, it doesn't matter, cos FTM marra.

Imagine actually having to live there and support that. Just imagine. Vile.

Only read last 10 pages but its comedy gold.

:lol::lol:

Ashley doesn't view the club as a supporter he views it as a business mate hence the transfer policy. It's always going to be difficult to be a success or in your case survive when you buy to make a profit.

:D:D:D Fuckin brilliant, bitterness oozing out of all them posts!

Oh, oh this is awkward, you see the OP on that 8 post thread is joking. He also doesn't mention Johnson...

This must be terribly embarrassing for you, so I'd suggest it's probably best we just pretend it never happened.

"If he takes Sunderland down, the media will still say he's done a good job. Got mackems begging him to stay despite being there since October the sort the shit out"
