The "we're a bigger club than you" boast is a rogues charter...usually a sign that your club is failing, which is precisely why LVG used it (in comparing Man U to Spurs) at a recent press conference. He knows Man U are shitter.
 
Sunderland are a far bigger club than avfc.Always have been and always will be.
