Jermaine Defoe - Poorest signing in recent memory

Not at all. I find it odd it was locked for weeks then suddenly reappears. I'm fine with it staying open and was surprised it was locked tbh, hence my surprise this morning when it was unlocked again.

I've already said I got it wrong, a few times, and I'm happy to take the abuse for it mind (I've even bumped it myself on occasions when he's scored). But if folk are going to unlock it, randomly, then I'm at least gonna play up to it and be a cock with it.

How do you know it was locked?

If you notice just before it was bumped today, the last post (or one of them) is a massive Perry post. I remember going to respond to it (basically just to say we're never going to agree) and it was locked.

I would only know that if I searched for a thread. Perhaps to bump it in a game Defoe didn't score.

:lol::lol:

If you think that's how I realised, then fair enough, I suspect there's nothing I'll say will change your mind on that one.

Apparently not to some idiots on here. Apparently Quinn made him the player he was :rolleyes: :lol:

Think Morny has more than enough mind, taken his punishment and not hid away. So fair play to the bloke.

aye, ive not kept up with the grief he has received

I remember saying something at the time like 'will be gone in the summer back to London/using us as a stepping stone' I think I also said he looked a shadow of the player he was at Spurs.

Well, at least I can admit it.

I think he has looked fitter and sharper this season than he did when he first arrived. But he hadnt played much when he arrived so maybe not a great surprise.
