Newcastle Manager Situation

Why is he bringing the Real Madrid team with him ...... Newcastle's squad is shite.

Allardyce will just shrug and I'll be with him.
Because 1) McClaren is a terrible manager, and 2) Benetiz is a decent manager. Obviously he isn't going to be able to magicly transform their squad into winning every game, but he could get them 3 or 4 points than they would have under SMac. That could be enough to put us down. Not being hysterical, I think we will probably beat them to staying up, regardless, but if they get Benitez and win a game or two the whole atmosphere up there could change. I agree that their squad is poor but even for a poor squad McClaren is making a f***ing mess of it .

I guess that's a possibility but it's hard to argue with the choice.
I see where you are coming from but his reputation is from way back(in football terms) and he has done very little of late to enhance it. He has no experience of the mags current predicament nor the unique skill set needed to succeed ..... As much as I dislike FSA he is much better suited to this situation than benitez

Tbh I'm not sure where is talents lie he had some success at the dippers granted but he had some very good players and from the outside looking in I always felt the team was run in no small part by Gerrard and carragher

He didn't do particularly well at Liverpool really, when the brief was to haul them back into league contention.

Can believe some of the shite that our supporters are coming out with regarding Newcastle having the better chance of staying up at our expense it's a joke. From the position we were in a few months ago to where we are now should say a canny bit about our own chancer's of beating the drop. We are the form team out of the other two, we score goals regularly we also have huge confidence proved by the come back against Liverpool and Crystal Palace respectively and don't forget we had a very good point against another top half team in Southampton which we were by no means out classed. Newcastle can change manager as many times as they like it won't disguise the fact that they are shite and are nowhere even remotely looking like a team up for a relegation battle. I'd take us staying up over them any day of the week. We are in a far heathier position than them are both on and off the field. Just look at what is happening up there at this very moment a manager who doesn't even no if he really has a job or not? Don't tell me that the situation is not affecting the player because it will be and not in a good way either. Our own position has massively improved since the January signs have come in we are hit form at the right time and mean while 11 or so miles away the neighbours are in turmoil if that was us our fans would be shitting bricks. I no which club has the better chance of staying up and it isn't NEWCASTLE.

I bet its just for the camera man. He'll be like Del Boy and Rodney when they flog the watch once he gets in the car at the thought of his payout.

Are you really any further forward? History will tell you that most clubs who change manager at this stage of the season normally go down.
In my head we have a chance now, on Saturday at 5 we didn't. On the pitch? Fuck knows.

Anyone a bit concerned that with Tufty about to be sacked (once Sky Sports tell NUFC when to give him the chop) the new manager (whoever he is) "bounce" might just possibly influence the derby ...

f***ing typical they change their manager before the derby. That's usually our trick!

Although if you think about it, it's a new (ish) manager of ours vs them anyway.

We'll be reet.
