Newcastle in talks with Rafa Benitez's representatives

Haway, keep up at the back as that is over 4 hours old that tweet and this is his latest and that was posted over 3 hours ago ;) Still all speculation shite left, right and centre though as it's just his opinion.

Not convinced Rafa Benitez would take Newcastle job

I surmise the speculation and their talks have been predicated from hope that they'll find someone better, like a Moyes, or Benetize- and ultimately that has failed due to a distinct lack of appeal to that shitty job so they've no choice but to remain with the clown

What you reckon will happen midds?

I think they'll eventually sack him. Who they appoint is anyone's guess though, at first I thought Benitez would be laughable but it seems to becoming more credible? What I do know is that if they leave him in charge we're 100% going down, I think they also realise this too and ultimately the only really care about money so he'll be binned in the next few days.

The way I see it. Ashley either has to pull a top manager out of the hat or leave McLaren be.

Imagine the meltdown if they sack McLaren and bring in Curbishly/Kinnear/Keegan/Carver/Wilkinson etc?
