2 charges pleaded guilty
1 charge the jury found guilty
1 charge the jury found not guilty

Equally, 'not guilty' doesn't mean proven innocent. It means he's innocent by default (as should be the case for everybody), and that the evidence was not enough to convince them of guilty beyond all reasonable doubt.

We will never know the truth behind his Google search, or the photographs, nor will we even know the truth about his pubic hair.

To protect the father of her child, sure. You trust her but not the opinion of the girl that was abused? Interesting.

What does the young lass gain from lying? She had already given enough to have him convicted, why would she lie?

So its interesting that I believe the word of someone who has done no wrong whatsoever, is in fact a victim of AJ's arragance over someone who has admitted under oath she's a liar ? really ?

So let me get this right, the lass that was groomed and sexually abused , who is also a victim in this by the way cannot possibly be telling the truth? What does she stand to gain from lying?

It's a judge's job to be both above reproach, but also be an 'approachable' character. There can be times when it's appropriate for a more human approach - and the 'score of 12-0' comment was a fairly innocuous but lighthearted clarification of what he was looking for.

As to the evidence, you're not wrong to interpret the evidence in your own way, but you're not privy to all the evidence that the actual jury were. In addition, I would say from the evidence that was made public, the jury reach the right verdict. They were of the belief that he had touched her intimately - probably based on his 'wanted to get your jeans off' text, plus his prior intent to 'do a little bit more / feel' her. They were convinced enough that he eventually did precisely that.
On the other count (oral sex) they were less convinced - and rightly so - because there was still reasonable doubt about it - thus they found not guilty.

Why don't the club just come out and say what they did know?

There's the official line and there's the line that a criminal lawyer like the chairman would know. They have contacts and would know the evidence.

Children have been put at risk and the club has breached its duty of care.

No, how many times man, I dont think there's enough evidence to say he's guilty, based on what I have seen, you asked who would I believe out of someone who has impeccable character to someone who is known to lie.
