Their case has been proven and the case is finished ....... so why send the investigating officer to the BBC to talk about the club?

Nobody is disputing what you're saying but the baffling thing is if SAFC haven't read the messages why they haven't come out and just said that.

Because this is now a question about the conduct of a large community institution. The police aren't the only ones to express concern today. Charities, community groups and the local MP have all come out to say that the club have serious questions to answer. Not to mention the majority of the public.

So tbf I do agree about that, the police statement was trying to put the boot in on SAFC imo, my guess is when they disclosed whatever info they disclosed they hoped he would be suspended, I mean the comment from then saying 'the victim said how much it upset her he wasn't suspended' is pretty indicative that the police thought that was the wrong decision and are now trying to score points. Whether they are justified in that remains to be seen.

I was at the match on Tuesday with friends and was given my Southampton & Newcastle tickets by another friend.

I have friends who post on here who I've travelled with for decades and I'll see some on Saturday.

The fact that you can claim a genuine offer, to all decent people, to be a plea for friends shows what a weasel you are.
