Jermaine Defoe - Poorest signing in recent memory

Honestly, Defoe is shaping up to be the BEST signing we've made in recent memory. FFS - a striker who actually scores goals.

Does the OP rate Danny Graham, Jozy Altidore, Scocco et al ahead of Defoe?

I stand by it. He's had a good two games against two dreadful teams, but more importantly it looks like Allardyce has finally found a way to fit him into the side.

Stand by the view as for his first year here we couldn't play with hin in our side, we had no idea how to. Three managers couldn't, which made him a poor signing.

And as I've said, from the first day I posted it, the title was poorly phrased and over the top.

But nobody dare argue the points I'm making, as they aren't clever enough to.
