If fully fit & motivated would you take him in the summer on a free. 6 months left on his contract I reckon he would be a good option to have either off the bench or starting. Would be class him sticking in one against the mags. Thoughts ?

of course not. He's fit and motivated for the first time in three or four years having just gone home and playing in a weaker league, have we learnt nowt?

also not sure he'd want to cone back up here.

100% no, was just watching a vid of him dancing through half a team, Fluffed it at the end like. Thinking if we stay in the league and his dislike for the mags now he may come if we were interested. He'd be better than Johnson in the no10 role

On his day he is a good player. It might be a weaker league but doesn't mean he can't do a job in the prem. Cabaye came from France. Would you not take him ? He only went back to France to get him back up to speed.

id take cabaye as he's a class player, not a talented but fat waster who has done virtually nowt in 5 years and its took him going back into that league to show his quality and form, which is the point, not that its a bad idea signing from over there.

I think a player who would create & score. Not saying Ben arfa but someone like that would help us steer clear of one. I'm not suggesting in Jan as we have bigger problems to face, but in the summer a player like him in the team when on form wouldn't be a bad thing

I agree he was fat but full of talent. Which is why looking at him now not being fat & still having the talent I'd take a punt. Just my thinking but i can see where you're coming from.
 
Didn't a keeper cover more ground than him in his last game over here? He's shite man, a streak of good games in a shit league doesn't change that.
