My make on it is this,
Any team that can attract big crowds without being successful has a solid foundation
Any team that needs success to attract big crowds is on shaky ground.
 
Pointless argument whichever way. Nobody outside the top seven will ever be a big club again if Sky and those clubs get their way.

I didn't actually slate the city although I do not like the place any more. As I said previously, the schools are nearly all very poor, the traffic is horrendous and the immigrant/muslim population is swelling all the time.

I hate big cities & much prefer the country, which is where I live now

Yes, you do share your cities with bigger clubs. Having seen the agony & bitterness that Birmingham City fans suffer under our superiority, I can only imagine how bitter & twisted Everton & Man City fans must be given the success of their superiors. No wonder they refer to you as the "bitters"

I haven't understood your point you're right. You aimed a put down at a Man City fan for his club not being the biggest in the city when the other team is Manchester United, the biggest club in England and a club that is in the top 5 clubs in the world (i'd say number 3 but let's say top 5 based on opinion).

Any club in England would be in the same position if they shared the city with them so I don't understand the point you are making.

As a fanbase, City proved themselves to be among the most loyal in the country, not only for the fact they kept the crowds up in the lower divisions, but doing so at the same time as their rivals won everything there is to win. Don't think many clubs would have done the same.
