Celebrates consolation goals like he'd celebrate a world cup winning goal. A sad reflection of where we are as a club. Born to lose.

I just can't see him as anything more than a mercenary who has taken us to the cleaners right now, loves to act all passionate in front of the cameras and panders to the fans, but his celebrations are a bit embarrassing, just get your head down son, nobody is ecstatic about a consolation goal. Get the impression he cares more about getting likes on instagram than winning football matches. Just an Italian version of Wickham it seems.

It was a great goal - but you missed that.

The lad will always put 100% in, don't think that's even open to debate I just think he's another sideways signing in that we sold wickham and replaced him with Borini who in my opinion is no better which is why we constantly find ourselves no further forward season after season.
I must admit that when he finally did sign, who signed him. Advocaat wouldn't have had him on the radar. Sam has inherited him so Congers must have thought why not.

Well I know that we had Adrian Ramos from Dortmund in the bag, fee, wages and contract all agreed but he failed a medical. Few days later we signed Borini. Perhaps he was a last desperate throw of the dice after all other options were exhausted.

Would like to see him score a goal that actually means something, then he can celebrate whatever way he likes, but being ecstatic about making it 1-3 or 1-4 is unacceptable.
So, not fishing then? He wasn't exactly overboard V Citeh. The first one he got was a relief celebration.

Leave the lad alone you utter spunk breath!

I don't think he's a bad player and certainly isn't one of the issues at the club but whether he'll ever make it as a decent PL striker remains completely to be seen imo. Got him for a good price though.

Why do you think it is unacceptable? People criticise players when they think they give up at 2-0, 3-0 etc. so why not praise him for not giving up?
