I Got shot down for being an uncaring prick about this the other day but i really don't care being honest.

Changing your facebook display picture to a french flag while showing at least a basic knowledge of what has happened and while the intention is to show solidarity, such displays are basically all about attention at the end of the day.
Changing your profile picture doesn't solve a f***ing thing, it makes you jump aboard a wave of social media activism which achieves the square root of f***ing nothing, its utilised by most as a show they care and yes i know quite a few people who have changed it and i can accept that.
What i do find distasteful is the subsequent profile picture change, proceeded by slew ofter slew of Britain First propaganda bullshit, sharing blatantly untrue bullshit and fueling mass hysteria on 'closing borders' and 'kicking out muslims'

Not only does it make a mockery of the cause you purport to stand behind, it engineers it to make you look as though you care what happens to other people, when in reality you don't give a fuck about others as evidenced by your BNP, Britain first bullshit which promotes inequality and defeats the object of the solidarity you wanted to show by pointlessly changing a picture.

It's all just a vehicle for people to get likes on social media or to prove how they really support something, while doing nothing proactive to assist that cause.

Just because someone prances about like a twat and shouts oggy oggy oggy it doesnt make him a great frontman.

The half mong from Take That does a canny line in that type of shite, it he a great frontman in the eyes of Queen fans.

Have to agree although i think its best to day how social media is a load of bollocks rather than focus on this topic given what happened. People are pissed off but as you say facebooks 'like if you pray for paris' type shit is just a pointless exercise. I hate facebook and all it represents. Its actual purpose is almost lost amoungst the utter dross it now gets filled with.

I don't hate facebook but I did find I started to dislike quite a number of people, even ones I don't even know telling someone I do what mundane stuff they got up to by tagging them in all of their posts.

Healthcare is not a right, and if you can't afford it you should be left to die.

Conversely, I believe that wealthy people and corporations whose actions make health care unaffordable should have their actions classed as attempted murder. Anyone who is struggling to afford health care should have the protection of the law to go out and kill such wealthy people and corporations and claim self defence.
