A good player but always a risk of signing players from the Dutch league, for every Bony and Tadic theirs an altidore and Alves. Problem for alot of clubs is that all clubs will sign players of good calibre, so whilst the quality of the league will go up i can't see any club in particular massively improving.

Newcastle signing Wijnaldum does nothing if Palace sign a Cabaye, West Ham signs a Payet, etc. etc.
 
Would love it if this bloke turns out to be bang average like Cabella, Sissoko etc. Could be a worldbeater for all I know (never seen him play) but I suspect he'd have been snapped up by a bigger club before now if he was that good. We shall see.

To clarify, at no point did I state I wouldn't quote you, you had a few tears as I was quoting you, if you don't want me to qoute or reply to you then you can stop this by doing the same. Your aggression is screaming through, clearly evident with a nice "fuck off".

Its basically pretty simple, I thought for a fairly intelligent individual you would have grasped the basic concept.

Earlier I watched 60 minutes of the Brazil/Netherlands 3rd place play off - He looks competent, but certainly not what I'd rate as 'class'. Brazil looked pretty awful in the middle and just continually fouled the opposition players when they didn't have the ball, so it was rather difficult to judge him properly.

Then I watched the first half of them playing their qualifier against Turkey back in march. This game was a lot closer to premier league style play(plenty pace and closing down) While he didn't really look bad, he wasn't involved much and was subbed at half time. I'd need to see at least another two or three full games like the Turkey match before I could really properly gauge how good he is(I can't be arsed with that though). Although from the small sample I have, he certainly doesn't look as though he's worth 15 million quid.

How did you watch them? I don't really want to watch Wijnaldum but I wouldn't mind watching a few of the world cup games again
 
I haven't got a clue about him barring him being nothing special but steady in the WC. If he was anything ridiculously good he wouldn't be signing for us.

He looks decent on the Dennis Wise Scouting Network.
