More excuses for him. Never played with two strikers, what utter utter garbage man.

Heskey and collymore, larsson and Sutton?, Carew and agbonlahor, there's absolutely plenty of examples.

Excuses for him? I f***ing hated him, man.

I'm talking about from his villa time onwards. agbonlahor mostly played out wide or in a 4-4-1-1.

Oneil was a sunderland fan and we all desperatly wanted to see him succeed. It wasnt to be and he got off very lightly. No walkouts before half time. No booing.
But the final nail for him in the mind of the fans was 40000 booing graham. Telling oneil we didnt want him and a mistake in the making. That was the end of the relationship. The clough legacy that we all wanted simply was not to be......and as fans it hurt us, but he had to go as dejected apathy from the fans had set in.
Right man.....wrong time.

A nice idea, we all wanted to believe, but I really don't see it tbh .......... he liked Charley Hurley and would've 'supported' any team he'd played for.

He was a charley Hurley fan not a safc fan

He played exactly the same tactics but the game has moved on. He didn't have Robertson there to do the day to day and being a bone idle **** he didnt do it either. Rumour has it he would see the players once or twice a week.

It started off great but nosedived into absolute negative old school tedium.

No different then to his Leicester days, the players rarely seen him,Steve Walford and Robbo took to the coaching role.

Matt Elliott our ex player said Robbo would be giving instructions with a fag in his mouth lol

One of the players used to get a flight abroad the day after a match and not return till he knew O'Neill would be at the training ground (usually a Thursday). This happened frequently

Cloughy rarely took in training

He used to,watch from a distance walking his dog then fucked off back home

He left the training to his coaching staff

Great read this could read about cloughy all day

Looks like Ranieri is the latest manager to be backed, odds on with some firms.

Talk about making easy money, that's about the 5th manager to go odds on

He's the only manager I've contemplated not renewing under. That team really wore me down.

Johnson and Fletcher couldn't have been less suited to the style of football O'Neill tried to have us playing. He'd well and truly lost whatever ability and motivation he once had by the summer of 2012.

.. agree .. if he wasn't really a Sunlan fan as some have suggested, why would he 'reveal the pain' of being a Sunlan fan ..

.. he said he was .. and that will do for me ..

Weren't they down to ten men for about 70 minutes or something?

Christ that was depressing as fuck.

Aye, they had their keeper sent off after 30 mins. We only equalised through a pen and they had more than their fair share of chances to win it, while we created nothing and sat back allowing them to attack, seemingly happy with a draw

This was just never, ever going to happen though, and people were deluded if they thought otherwise.

You're right in what you're saying with everything else though.
