But if he is signing in the famous black and white stripes playing at the Cathedral and wear the famous number (insert a number) in front of supporters who know and love their football more than any, with an affiliation for the cups, he should at least have come with a Mickey Mouse bag!

Turning up in anything other than a full Shearer replica kit, Keegan perm wig and carrying a brass statue of Tino Asprilla is such a slap in the face to the Geordie nation. He obviously just doesn't understand.

So we are after attacking creative midfielders. Looking at wijnaldum he seems to fit the bill perfectly and would be a great signing. We should not be loosing him to our rivals! The perfect player going to a team not as good as us! We should be the team putting in bigger offers to get the players we need because to improve the team that's what needs to happen. Poor start if we loose him and Clasie
