A week ago you were telling everyone about Leicester's ambition, the big budget & Europe ...... now you're saying you'll be fighting relegation with Sunderland.

Sorry but that's a fail whichever way you look at it.

The board do have ambition and want Champions League football.

Easier said than done though and I'll believe it when I see it.

I never said we'll be fighting relegation, that is the market's perception. I think we'll exceed expectations and finish 10th-12th.

However, that depends on the manager we get. The club is in a mini turmoil at the minute and we look no nearer to getting a manager than we did ten days a go. If we get the right man in who doesn't want to change things too quickly I'm confident we'll get 50pts this season.

Leicester are one of the few midlands clubs I don't mind. No particular reason. Could never understand their inclusion in the chant "we hate nottingham forest..." (land of hope and glory tune) I'm sure that some of their fans will get up people's noses, but that's true of all clubs.

I don't mind Leicester one way or another to be honest, I wouldn't miss them if they weren't here but I could say that about a few PL clubs. Every club has at least 1 complete knacker who can't keep off other fans forums.

Probably stolen from the Chelsea song.

We all follow the Chelsea
over land and sea
and Leicester.

(to the tune of Land of hope and glory).

dunno if its a Chelsea song, or where it originated. First I heard it was in the '70s, and a few clubs used to sing slightly different versions. We also sang the "we all follow the sunderland" version as well as the "we hate nottingham forest" version of the tune

We used to sing:

Bring on the Sunderland and Arsenal
Bring on the scousers by the score, (by the score)
Barcelona and Madrid
and all the f***ing Yids
Cos you won't beat the Leicester any more.

Little did I know back then that it would all come true in 2015 and beyond.

Leicester WILL be relegated and you will crawl back under whatever stone you came out from. You are just one of those very strange people who go on the internet to wind people up and obviously get off on it. I can just imagine you punching the air every time you get a bite. Weirdo.

hmmm.... well, ok we didn't beat you so far in 2015 (0-0 draw but Arsenal and Spurs both did).

Hull's board were supposed to have ambition and want to 'push on' as if the usual catch phrase ...... they just avoided relegation then didn't.

In reality the Leicester board might well be doing a 'Newcastle' and simply flogging season tickets.

They said last season they wanted Champions League football within five seasons and this is now season two.

No need to flog season tickets as they never went on general sale this season as we have them capped at 23,000 as our ground only holds 32,000.

As I said easier said than done and if they are going to do it they need to get ahead of Spurs and Liverpool and then displace one of the big four. To do that you need to be buying half a dozen or so players around the £30m mark just to give yourself half a chance.

We could feasibly be the 7th best club in England given time and good management but beyond that is very unlikely.

To be fair, it sounds very familiar, Niall Quinn's magic carpet was supposed to head in that general direction. The problem is how you do it without getting all your best players catching the eye of those at the top if you have a successful season or two, or how you replace them if they do decide to leave. All easier said than done

And also even if you have the money it's attracting £30m players to come to Leicester rather than any other options they have.

7th isn't that difficult, look at Southampton who were League One not so long a go. Even they can't hold onto their star players and the likes of Alderweid and Schnederlin would much rather go to 6th place Spurs than stay at Southampton.

Getting to be the 7th best team is a doddle compared to progressing any further.

This is LEICESTER we're talking about here. Talk about thick fans of shitty little clubs getting above themselves. It isn't going to happen mate, just get used to it.

7th isn't that difficult

You do realise where you are. We have not been 7th since the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 seasons. We won 16 games in the first season and 15 in the second season. Losing only 12 games in the first and 11 in the second. Both with a plus GD of 1 and 5 respectively with a G+ of 57 and G- of 56 in the 99-00 season and G+ of 46 and G- of 41 in the 00'-01' season. Since then we have never gotten anywhere close in any stat. The most games we have won since is 12 in the 2010-2011. The least amount of games lost was last season when we lost only 14. It will be a very long time before we get anywhere good enough to match the stat of the Peter Reid era.

Seventh is up for grabs for any well run PL club.

It might be one of the traditional bigger clubs that get there like Newcastle or Everton or one of the currently well run clubs like Stoke or Southampton. It could even be Bournemouth in a few seasons time as the income between 7th richest club and the 20th isn't that wide that it's insurmountable.

It's arguably easier to get from 17th to 7th than it is 7th to 6th.
