So, I've just jumped to the current end of this thread. Have we decided he's mint or shite?
I think it's fair to say the board are unanimous that he would be the best buy since at least SKP.
So it has no chance of happening imho

Big Dick gets what he wants. That's the difference now. We've got a manager who can demand things. They wouldn't have begged him to come back otherwise. f***ing great, IMO.

If we do not get this player it is a signal that Dick is coming by saying please look at Sunderland

This summers first link that I really really hope is true. This would be a fantastic signing if we can somehow pull it off. Ha way Congers.

Dutch player of the season and 19 caps for the national team, I cant remember SAFC signing a player this young with his credentials ever

He would be a really exciting signing, absolutely. In my opinion a year before Sess signed, he was destined for bigger things. Whilst I loved having Sess and watching him play, he was unable to make the team any better than constantly battling relegation.

Tbf, that was less to do with Sess and more to do not being able to build a quality team around him, particularly that destabilisation transfer window under Bruce.

Completely agree. If we sign this lad, hopefully he'll have as a big impact as Sess and were able to build a team as well.
