Wijnaldum played in the middle 3 in the PSV 4-3-3 formation.
So he would be the playmaker in front of Cattermole and maybe next to Larsson?

Ad a good winger and 3-4 defenders and we will be alright next season :)
 

Mags managed to sign Janmaat. No reason why we couldn't get this fella.
 
That article also says PSG are interested. If their interest is serious there isn't a hope . I'm also dubious that we would splash £15m anyway

Because there are few clubs on the continent that offer the money that the Premier League offers. But PSG are one of those clubs. They have as much money as Real Madrid or Barcelona.They'd double, even treble what we would be able to offer

We paid Giac more than Juventus could. I know it's PSG and it's different. But don't underestimate the Premier League TV money, especially if we stay in another season as it goes even bigger.

PSG are interested in everyone bar Fletcher if you read the papers every day. I think they are the footie agents club to quote to bump the price up.

Given the current SKY TV money, £15m shouldn't be too difficult a deal to sanction if the Chairman has confidence in the manager

Well, seems it was easy to convince the board about Rodwell last season......Ouch!
 
I'm hoping Newcastle step aside again like and he comes to Dick. Fantastic signing if we manage to pull this off, quality playmaker in midfield I'd also push the boat out and get Jordy Clasie in midfield with him but that is pushing it like.
