Goalkeeper
Great to see you win last week and looks like Hull will go!! Would just like to know how big Pants has done in net this season? He was good for us and seemed a great lad. Didn't think he would get in the first team ahead of Mannone.

Hope you get 2 more wins and maybe even the Mags might get sucked into it.

contender for player of the season. and i saw him outside tesco one day and realised worra big lad he actually is up close.

I also thought he'd just be back up to Vito especially the season Vito had last season but the big man bided his time and has been superb since he got in. Just hope we can stay up and keep him as don't know if he'll fancy the championship.

I think he is a very very good keeper. Much more comfortable with him there than Mannone. As mentioned, his distribution is horrific like.

Been a key player, his collecting of crosses/corners eases pressure on the centre backs massively and he's produced some excellent saves throughout the season.

It'll be a big if looking at their home crowds this season!

Been to every single one mate - we have averaged 45k but have a problem with maybe 2k of season tickets holders on average not turning up for each game. Our season tickets are cheap - some as low as £300 and a lot of people buy them and maybe go to ten to fifteen games a season. Looks bad on tv but in truth people outside are paying touts for a ticket as the game is officially sold out. Sunderland fans know that we have good support just as you do. Next season we will average 54k.

Back to the topic I always rated him and he had a great attitude. Always liked Sunderland since the huge following on the kippax when you had the goaly with the bow legs and we sent you down- what was he called?

Tony Norman.

He seems a very likeable player. Good shot stopper and at claiming crosses due to his height.
Very poor distribution.

According to some (probably biased) stats I read on here the other day, he is statistically better than De Gea.
