Isn't it, I change my view on it all the time, sure it could be an accident but there's just something not right at all, especially when you consider the main suspects dad is in the FBI.

Have you seen some of the other pictures? The second autopsy the family had done found that he died from blunt force trauma.

That's one of the few "ghost photos" experts haven't found any tampering with, no double exposure or anything. Both negative and prints have allegedly been checked.

This is an old photo I first saw in the 80's

This photo was in a book I had in the 70's called Ghosts ghouls and monsters. I was a bairn and it put the shits right up me. Used to dread waking up in Durham cathedral after I read about the ghost in there. Cracking thread like...

You cannot rule out double exposure. It just can't be done

You simply underexpose the church image a bit, then shoot your fancy dress mate with a white background . Bet the vicar had a more than passing interest in photography

Or indeed half expose the church image, then bring in your mate to the scene for the other half of the exposure

I think that's the one they are saying is the airman.That's the ghostly face.There isn't 2.

I can see three faces. An actual airman, the ghostly face behind/next to him and then a third, smaller face behind/next to that.

Yeah it's gruesome, I was going to post it on here but I think it's a bit too far for even the SMB, saying that it's probably not as bad as the Catacombs photo.

I read somewhere that what happened to his face can be caused by fluid rushing to the head, his shoes looked like they were placed near the body but they could have fallen off like they have with him struggling in the mat, the most intriguing part for me was his blood was found underneath a different pair of shoes, suggesting they were placed there after the mat was propped up. If I'm remembering the case properly.

I have read that four months after he took the photograph he committed suicide due to an overwhelming sense of guilt and drug dependence.

Kevin carters guilt is a matter of debate ... At the point of this photos execution no doubt , no conscience , no doubts ... Just exploitation

Do you believe in ghosts.....? I was just wondering. I do but not because of the photos - because of family members who have seen things and they would not have a reason to lie about it. But I suppose I wouldn't believe 100% unless I saw something myself, which as yet I have not.

I might do aye, but until it happened and depending on the circumstances you wouldn't know what you'd think though.
