Yet they miss out the simple fact that time requests were actually made by @Keith S30S (links anyone?) well before the event happened. Yet again another 'sensationalism' of a story by not including all the facts and done to probably increase clicks to their website ;)

Why not state this in the story or why didn't Alan say this? (maybe he did but the Chronicle chose not to state this?)

Then again the Chronicle quoted @Gatesheadredandwhite when in fact it was @AC Mack they were quoting so I suppose they'd have quoted the wrong facts about the requested times anyway! :lol:

Also quote the pilot as saying "it wasn't international to fly over then." Somehow I doubt he used the word international. Written by illiterate twats who can't afford proof readers by the looks of it.

The bloke was very professional until today when he said he'd ring before they left Peterlee (Shotton) air field but he didn't call me and the pilot had left when I rang at 4.10 PM. I also text 3.30 to ask how they were doing but got no reply.

It wouldnt have made any difference what time the plane flew over, the magedia were always going to do this, as I predicted here:

Just think that anything involving aeroplanes should be avoided given what happened to their fans on flight MH17.

It is inevitable that the magedia will spin this as SAFC mocking the dead fans.

That is why I was against the idea.

In the event, the flypass seems to have come across quite well. But the extent of the inherent bias of the Newcastle press shouldn't be underestimated by others in future.

Aye they've failed to report that it all started due to the fact the Mags plane didn't take off at all :rolleyes:. I suppose if they did report facts then people would read the story and then move along to something different ;)
