Clearly though there are racists in society. Why should football not attract its fair share of racists? there are bound to be a few. However the days of monkey chants etc. at English football grounds are long gone. You may get the isolated incident but nowhere near anything on the scale it used to be. Both society and football has rooted the vast majority of this out.

What does that prove? That an Evening Standard headline writer has totally misinterpreted the statistics?

Being part of a group that makes up 45% of a population when the next largest ethnic group makes up 20% of the population means it's the majority ethnic group. White British people are not a minority in London.

"There are now 3.7 million white Britons in London, down from 4.3 million in 2001 despite an overall increase in the capital’s population of nearly one million inhabitants over the decade.

The next largest ethnic group is Asian"

It seems to be lumping ALL groups other than "white" into one big group, which is completely cherry picking numbers to suit a narrative.

Identify who we can from the footage and ban from attending matches.

I'm sure many of these lot can be identified by other Chelsea fans.
 
What a storm in a tea cup. Opening this thread I was thinking they must have tried to fling him under a train or something. This sort of thing goes on everyday, everywhere, between all different types but is never caught on camera.

I don't want to kick this storm up again, but the person you have quoted has said in the "other" possible scenario of what is happening in the video is that the scummy fans shouting were further in the train and just reacted how they think, which my have been different to how the bald **** reacted.

Never seen owt like it first hand personally. If I did it would personally make me feel very uncomfortable.
