Look at his stats compared to smith. Not massively apart.

He averages more with the bat in ODI and averages nearly 51 to smiths 52 and a bit in test cricket.

Played a similar amount in both formats.

Kohli and smith have both just had an unreal series, certainly boosted their stats.
