All his stats prove that he had a quite good goal record for quite good teams.
That's an improvement on what we have, providing he's not a busted flush.
However, he has never been an especially prolific goalscorer. I'm disappointed that a 32 on a megabucks 3.5 year contract is the best we can do, but I dunno why I expected any better from the people running our club.
If he manages 1 in 3 for the rest of the season, that might just make the difference between survival and relegation.

a 1 in 3 striker - huge improvement and 'good' as long as also assists and contributes other things '2 out of 3'.

Aye, it's canny but even better if you consider he's only on the pitch an average of 62 mins
If he somehow maintains his 180ish mins per goal stat until the end of the season and we can keep him on longer than 62 min per appearance then surely his appearances per goal will be even better? Old pic from December I think which was last time I checked, couldn't be arsed to update it

I watched a holidays in the sun type program once with some blonde lass who looked canny, she was with her mam looking for a pad up to 1m. Turns out her boyfriend was Mr Defoe. Think he sacked her off within a year.

I'm going to be honest, I have never liked Defoe. I think he's a twat and he fucked up Craig Gordon.
Remember Mignolet made that unbelievable save from him a couple of years ago? One of the best saves I have ever seen, absolutely world class reflexes, no idea how Defoe didn't score.
Maybe he'll grow on me in time.

I saw him play for Bournmouth away to Stoke in the second division (now L1). He was on loan from West Ham and to this day it was probably the best individual performance I've seen. He scored from the spot and hit the bar from outside the box.
