Canny feather in his cap and increases his value for the club. But on the downside, what's in it for us supporters?
  • Risk of injury
  • Bids we cant refuse from a big club
  • Cattermole cant handle the pressure and loses form (happens to a lot of players who get capped)
  • Pay rise demands

It's a no for me.
 

I still think he just lacks that bit of quality at the top level.......the odd lapse of concentration and the odd loose pass can be very expensive at International level. I'd like to see him get a cap as recognition for his efforts but I'm not convinced he'll get one.
 
I would yes...but a few good games for england and a top ten finish for us.....the bids would start coming in.

sick of absolute dross getting called up to the England squad based upon reputation or who they play for

would be nice to see someone rewarded based upon actual form

The vast majority of international teams are a lot worse than the likes of Chelsea though
