Always makes me laugh when sports fans think and arbitory boundary change in 1974 over rides hundreds of years of sporting history. County cricket and football in this country has and always will be based on the old traditional boundaries of the counties concerned and that does not include modern abominations such as Tyne and Wear, Greater Manchester or Greater London.

I was opposed to Durham playing a game in Northumberland for those reasons and that still stands. We have good out grounds in our own county that deserve a game, leave the Northumberland County Cricket Club to honour South/North.

If the boot was on the other foot and Northumberland were the First class county, do you honestly think they would ever consider playing a game at Ashbrook?

wood and arshad played seconds but if they don't play against northants i can't see them playing the final and i can't see that happening. varun is more possibly as a direct replacement for hastings although he can't bat like big john.

chase probably to keep his place, possibly coggers for the final as he can bat. harrison and onions won't play again this year, wood and arshad may against warwickshire but probably not needed...

outrageous accusations, none of the players hit the tavern afters, it was just me and them random lasses.... got a warning 'nowt like yesterday you lot' as we came in haha. no sir, just a quiet drink...
