Fell result was always gonna happen as loads of bad blood has passed between Chester and Sunderland over the years.

Negative cricket from Sunderland has cost them in the end, despite all the players they've lost.
 
Gateshead Fell 2XI won the NEPL First Division 2 and have been promoted back into Premier Division. South Shields been relegated!

A lot jumped ship due to money. What goes round comes round, though. Depend on it.
 
After the various misshaps at Sunderland this season with regards to players leaving as they hadn't been paid, and then them pulling in Onions to play a one off relegation battle game against (his old club) Gateshead Fell, for me it is absolute karma that they have gone down. Congratulations the Fell!

Must admit the Onions move was very marginal IMHO .
