Great game. Ineresting stuff with 50 over world cup squad in mind.

Might have to have a rethink about Treadwell. Didn't think he deserved to be in 50 over team but Patel looked very fat yesterday and he bowled canny today.

Bopara over Woakes for me with Broad and Stokes in as starters.

I remain surprised at how many Indian fans came over to watch the cricket. Put the barmy army to shame...
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

The game was in Birmingham.

Edit: a quick look shows those of Indian heritage accounted for 2.5% of the population in 2011 so I'm sure that will have gone up.

Think you've missed my point...

English born/Indian supporting. Something wrong there.

True but I suppose it's the same as supporting you're dads football team/grandads football team.

You'd imagine those that like football probably support the England football team, just cricket is the Indian national game and so part of their heritage.

The booing was pathetic for the reason you state as bopara is as English as the majority of the fans booing.

great game, excellent batting at last from morgan and some decent english bowling.

felt a bit for roy but its obvious that boy cant half time a shot. hope he goes with odi squad and gets a run in the sri lanka series

Dull game until the end like. If it wasn't for the Indians that ground would've been half-empty. Says a lot for the 'most popular form of the game'.
