I was talking to one of the members who'd attended a Q & A event with Breeze and Hastings. The question of next season was raised and Hastings said he'd love it, but A) it was down to the club and B) there may be a problem for him getting a work permit as his last International game was so long ago he may not have the qualifications to get a work visa .....
Be interesting too see what happens with him. Hampshire were/are also watching the Borthwick situation.

With our financial position I worry what will happen to some of our talent coming through - they could be chucked into the deep end as we have to release players to reduce the wage bill! Fingers crossed .......

Colly for me by a country mile.
Hastings only here half a season and batting has let him down
Rocky has been inconsistent in his batting, he must learn to move his feet early on instead of just wafting and his limited over captaincy has been poor

Even Colly would vote for Stoneman. He will have averaged over 40 with 1000 championship runs for the second season in a row and without his performances we would be relegated. Batting at the top of the order against the new ball always brings some failures and all players in our squad have technical flaws to some degree.

Mustard and Stokes don't have a real affiliation with football and go to both grounds with Colly (us) and Muchall (them).

Mustard was on Boro's books as a kid. He is from Washy not Sunderland town so every possibility of being a horse puncher.

stokes mam is from sunderland

Where did you get that from? Remember them being interviewed on R5 when he hit the century in Aus and they both had kiwi fush-n-chup accents.
