Right I'm home and I'm soaked. Stotting down.
Very little wind either, it's gonna rain for a while yet.
Will be gone by 3.30 judging by the Metoffice rainfall radar.

Its a relief map of the Lake District, surely? The water on that pitch![]()
It was like that last Friday, rained overnight, most of Saturday morning then Lancs were out for their t20 pretty quickly. It drains well, groundstaff get a lot of practice. Having said that it's absolutely bucketing down and there's thunder and lightning at the mo.The water on that pitch![]()

Still drizzling.
Pedant. Will be gone soon. Nothing behind it - just a test of the drainage.
Can anything be done about that area of the field for Sunday/Monday when the rumoured storm comes in?? I can see us being thwarted by the weather on those days![]()
We aren't even that far ahead of the minute though mate!
No chance of a result IMO, don't they will start on time tomorrow
ThisI think most analysts are questioning Dhoni's reading of the atmospheric conditions, not the pitch.
Sun's beating down at the moment, no doubt they'll start on time.We aren't even that far ahead of the minute though mate!

It was £58 for this match, everyone knows the rules and they probably saw more cricket than they expected to yesterday. But I'd be disappointed if I was there (almost got a ticket the other day)f***ing hell, there is a puddle of water. so f***ing what, change the rules, let them change the ball every 2 overs if its wet, 17,000 people robbed of upwards of £80 a day, players safety my f***ing arse

If England can get a lead of 150/200 by mid afternoon I reckon we could blow them away again and finish it today. They'll need to, forecast looks garbage for the next 2 days.
