This should be an easy victory, as we should expect. Rather have a real test, to be honest. This is like throwing a nail bomb into an old-people's home.

Id rather see a close fought test too but occasionally its nice to see a mauling, especially when those on the receiving end are annoying tossers like Dhoni and co. I dont really get into the favourabke conditions talk though cos its the other way round when our whiteys are getting baked alive and playing on dust bowls in India.

Dropped catch could come back to bite us. England can always make a game of it when they put their minds to it :lol:

I understand what you're saying. I guess in my case I can't raise that kind of angst towards Dhoni and co.

I keep my powder dry for next summer....
 
India fighting their way back into this (ish). Would rather have had Finn to turn to than Jordan and Woakes.

Keep repeating myself, but it is really really annoying me. There are a lot of good experts I respect in the media, but not single one of them has questioned why Stokes has been dropped for runs at 8. Even Nasser said Stokes probably needed a break and they should stick with Jordan. Before this Jordan had like 5 wickets at 70, why on earth are runs important at number 8. Stokes is a better bowler, he has a better first class, list a and test average. No idea why he isn't playing.

Jordan simply isnt anywhere near good enough. I think if a better bowler had been in instead of Jordan or Woakes we'd be batting now.
