Another example here of Dhoni's captaincy being totally overrated, madness decision for an Indian side to bat first in this.

According to the BBC it was right to bat (Saying lots of bad weather around in the coming days so today was probably the best batting day). Stats also back batting first here massively. Saying all that.... Have that Dhoni, ya fat fuck!!!!

The stats may have pointed to it but sticking an inexperienced Indian side in against Anderson in muggy, humid conditions was always going to end up in disaster IMO.

They are not worthy to play test match cricket these conditions to be honest.

Where can you look up bowler stats?

What I'm wondering is if Mr Anderson and Broady have a chance of becoming England's all time top 2 wicket takers anytime soon.

Female commentator on TMS........who is she .....anyone? And...,would I be right in thinking she would be the first female on there since Donna Simmons?

No. 1 is Ian Botham with 383.

No. 2 is James Anderson with 371, although that's from Wiki so not sure if it includes today's wickets. Either way, it's conceivable Jimmy will become England's leading wicket take this series.

Broad is a way behind in 6th place with 250 odd wickets, just ahead of Graeme Swann.
